Nostraadms
So I went to a community college for two years and then transferred to a university and graduated 3 years later. When I transferred, they said that the university units are not equivalent to the community college units. Do I take this under consideration when calculating my GPA? The CC was a semester system, whereas the university was a quarter system. I know CASPA wants us to calculate using semester hours, but does that just mean semester units? I'm a little bit confused, so any help would be great.

Administrator rev ronin Posted August 17, 2012 Administrator Share Posted August 17, 2012 The GPA calculator spreadsheet that another forum member made in Excel takes the semester/quarter thing into consideration. But yes, 4 quarter hours are equal to 3 semester hours.
