Not sure if things have changed, but back then all the hospitalists were MD/DO from an independent group… just fyi. Back then I shadowed a family med PA who was also with Intermountain, and when I tried to set up a rotation with him a year ago, the Intermountain student coordinator said they weren’t taking students from out of state due to a COVID spike at the time… and even if they did, priority was given to students from in-state PA/NP schools. I didn’t pursue it any further.
