GiftN
Hello, I just have a quick question 2 years ago I was told being a pharmacist technician would not aid in PCE hours but now that I’ve been immunizing various vaccines would it be considered? Batman
Some schools have different criteria for PCE and HCE and may automatically allot pharm tech experience as HCE. When you apply on CASPA it will ask you to break down your hours and experiences. For instance, you can say that 80% of the time you are working it is primarily HCE but that 20% of the time is actually PCE because you are doing vaccines. Each school has different criteria though and may already post what experience they consider PCE. The safest thing would be to look on the FAQ page of your top choices to be certain. Wish you the best!
