lkb123 Posted November 3, 2021 Share Posted November 3, 2021 I've submitted my CASPA application to numerous schools, which means I cannot edit any of the experience entries. I have about 2 years full-time work as a Medical Assistant/Surgery Tech that I put under "Healthcare Experience" on CASPA. The distinction in CASPA puts MAs under HCE, but after reviewing programs' requirements, I am now realizing that my work falls more under "Patient Care Experience." Do programs pay specific attention to the experience type, or will my explanation of my responsibilities be taken into consideration? Should I update programs I have already applied to?
