Supervising rules

Recommended Posts

Hello, I'm a PA in Brooklyn, NY. I was wondering if anyone knew about physician assistant supervision. The law says that supervising physician can only have six PA at a time. Does this mean working with 6 PA's (in which physicians can have more than 6 PA who they delegate taks within their scope of practice) at anyone time or that they only can only have 6 total PA that they can supervise. We have supervising physicians that have more than 6 PAs who they supervise but not daily and know one really knows answer to this. Thanks.
