PAtoMD Posted September 21, 2021 Share Posted September 21, 2021 Hey everyone, I have recently started Medical School and was elected to be the PA student liaison for the emergency medicine interest group. Essentially my role is to make the group more fun for our PA students as most of our activities are focuses on the medical students. So far I have lined up a few of my old classmates who are working in the ER to speak with the PA students. I would also like to get PAs who work in more rural areas to speak to the students. As well as get an residency trained PA/ maybe a residency director to come speak to the students. Would any of you rural and CAH ER PAs like to speak to the PAs at my school? I understand if not for the sake of anonymity. Does anyone have recommendations on solid ER residency programs for me to reach out to. If I recall correctly, Iowa has a solid ER residency.
