My name is Nicole Rodriguez and I am currently a graduate at Florida International University as a double major in Biology and Natural & Applied Sciences. I am at the moment gaining direct patient care hours working as a medical assistant. I am looking to find any shadowing opportunities in South Florida (Miami-Dade or Broward County). I am completely open minded to any specialty, and would appreciate the chance to shadow any Physician Assistant. I'm a bit of non-traditional student--I graduated from Williams College in Massachusetts back in 2014 and have been working in research for the last few years. I'm originally from the South Florida area and recently relocated back to focus on prerequisites. It's been extremely challenging trying to find any local shadowing opportunities, particularly without local academic contacts. I'm located in Broward but would be happy to commute!
