Jofriend
I'm at the end of my career but wanted to return to clinical after two +years in education. A local psychiatrist offered me a part time job near my home - perfect. Some flexibility - perfect. She has a full time PA who likes her - perfect. Then, I get a contract with 1) no hours 2) percentage of billing - but no transparency 3) no compete clauses and the ability to fire me or move me on a whim. ???? This is actually the first contract for clinical work that I have had after 37 years in practice and good to go with a handshake. Reviewed this with a lawyer and sent back several data points to "clarify". While I had wanted to work for her, what a turn off! Anyone else have this kind of experience?
