Administrator rev ronin Posted July 21, 2021 Administrator Share Posted July 21, 2021 Are there enough forum members who are making the transition from clinical practice to teaching to support a new Professional PA subforum for academic pursuits---teaching, precepting, research/writing? We have a Research subforum under specialties, but it's not gotten that much love. I know we have multiple faculty members here--would you want a forum in which to discuss concerns related to developing an academic career and teaching in a PA program?
SHU-CH
Sure, that's a good idea. It might also be a way to hook up clinically practicing PAs (who may have data but don't know what to do with it) with academic PAs (who can analyze data, but don't necessarily have access to it). kyoung1
Might be interesting to give it a try and see what gets stirred up.
Moderator ventana Posted July 21, 2021 Moderator Share Posted July 21, 2021 Sounds good Can this be a private forum? Should be verified as affil with a teaching program, and a practicing PA as I can see Pre-PA and students joining under false pretense....

I'll figure out how to do that, but the easiest way may be to make a "club" for PA educators.
