vanerey Posted July 20, 2021 Share Posted July 20, 2021 I'm a first year PA student but the doctor I worked for to get PCE hours reached out to me asking if I know anyone interested in working! The job position is for an ophthalmic tech (retina) in NYC where you would be working directly with patients, taking histories, administering eye meds, performing diagnostic imaging, scribing, setting up for procedures and more. No cert needed, it's all on the job training. I worked as an ophthalmic tech for my PCE, I always recommend it to pre-PA students because I learned so much and it was a fun talking point during my interviews.
