Challenges facing PA's in Georgia?

Frankly, Georgia is a bass ackwards state when it comes to PAs. That will have very little effect on you as a student, though. Once you’re out and practicing, if you stay in Georgia, your experience will vary widely depending on your practice environment. I don’t feel particularly encumbered by Georgia’s laws because I practice highly autonomous inpatient medicine. But I do feel the sting anytime I need to interact with the state medical board to ask mother-may-I for permission to so much as wipe my nose.
