Hello!

What do you mean by open / closed interview? Do you mean if the interviewers have seen your application before they interview you?

I interviewed with a faculty member and a community PA. The faculty member had seen my application but I don't believe the community PA had (I can't be 100% sure though because I didn't ask).

And then generally, the session comprised 1:1 interviews and then small group interviews. Everyone on the committee was so warm, welcoming and down to earth 🙂

I hope that helps!

Great! Ya that’s what I meant! Thanks for the detailed response 🙂

does anyone know how long they do interviews for? still waiting to hear something!!

I can’t say for sure since they interview/accept on a rolling basis but last year I think they were still interviewing in March! Don’t lose hope,  no news is good news! 🤞🏻🤞🏻

I received my acceptance call yesterday! I'm still in shock, I can't believe I'm going to be a PA!! Before I decide on what program I will attend, I'm still waiting to hear from other schools.

Congrats to those who have been accepted as well! And good luck to those who are still waiting to hear back. Don't lose hope, there are still plenty of seats left!

For those of you accepting to plnu.. do you have any reservations about their provisional status?

From my searches it seems just as legit as a continued status but just wondering what other research you may have done to possibly pass up on other schools for this one?

Hey! I have been accepted and I don’t have any reservations 🙂

Every new program has to go through provisional accreditation before they transition to “continued”. Both are considered fully accredited and meet the ARC-PA standards.

During the provisional accreditation period, the institution goes through three reviews: one before the first cohort starts, a second six months before graduation of the first cohort and the last between 18-24 months after the first cohort graduates.

Here’s a great flow chart explaining the whole process, I hope it’s helpful!
