I was accepted to Midwestern! I put my deposit down, but I just interviewed with a school near my hometown. I'm looking into housing options to make a pros and cons list in the case I get another acceptance. I know Midwestern offers on-campus housing but if I were to look off-campus, will I be breaking the bank? I'm not from Chicagoland so I don't know any tricks lol

Congrats on acceptance. It’s very expensive to live in and around Chicago.
when did you interview? I interviewed October 18th and haven’t heard back yet

Downers Grove area is pretty cheap compared to the “city of Chicago” area. These are more suburban apartments and homes so they won’t be as expensive. My friend has a roommate and she’s paying $600 for her part in a 2 bedroom in Downers grove. Montgomery, Westmont, Lisle, Glendale heights are some other options... also near by and also cheaper. (Naperville, and Oakbrook will be more expensive).
