Just out of curiosity did anyone who was accepted to Midwestern in AZ receive an interview to the IL campus?

I did! I was accepted in AZ a few weeks ago and will be interviewing for IL on September 27

  • 2 weeks later...

Just wanted to pop in and give people some hope. I am a PA-S1 (who chose to go the MWU AZ because it was closer to home) I submitted my application in July 2020 and did not get an interview invite until December 2020 and got in so don’t give up hope. They work on a rolling basis.

Fun Fact: I interviewed at both campus the same week in December IL was Monday and AZ Thursday

Got an interview invite today! I noticed they are doing a "group interview." Do any of you know what that will entail? Seems like this is the only actual interview opportunity there is during interview day.

Congrats! When is the interview for?

Do y'all think it's too late to apply to this program if my CASPA is already verified? I understand it's rolling admissions

I applied around this time last cycle, and I was still offered an interview, but was placed on the alternate list. Best of luck!

Thank you! Do you know if their minimum GRE requirement is 50th percentile in each section? I couldn’t find on their website if it was a hard requirement to be considered

Hey, I have an interview next week and my GRE is below the 50th percentile. My GRE is probably the weakest part of my application and I was still extended an interview invite.

I do believe it was to get in the 50th percentile, but I think programs are shifting this requirement

I also received an interview invite today! Can anyone who has already interviewed shed some light about the format? I know it says group interview on the schedule but can you tell us how many applicants there were in your group and how many faculty you interviewed with? Thanks in advance!!

We (around 40 students) first started off with an extensive presentation by the program director followed by a Q&A, and then we had a break where we can watch a video of a virtual tour. After that, we were divided into 5 groups with 1 faculty member each, and we all took turns chiming in our thoughts on various questions. It was a very welcoming atmosphere as everyone appeared to be truly enjoying themselves being there.
