I’m not sure if they’re backed up or just have that many candidates interviewing until then. I know that after I submitted my application they said it'd take 21 business days to look at it and after over 23 business days I asked for my status and they had mentioned that there were delays due to a large number of applications. I submitted my application fairly recently so I was surprised at how fast I got an invite after reading some of the posts on here.
