TWR
Just wondering what staff should have access to the sample closet? This includes the control samples. I think providers only. It is not that way in my office. Reps have access not to the locked control ones.
SocialMedicine
Providers and the office manager who stocks. I do not think samples of controlled substances are allowed in New York State. Even if it was I would not want any. I have zero interest in keeping any pain medication, sleep aid, or anxiety drug on premise. If a patient needs assistance I will happily refer them to assistance programs and make a large effort to obtain an affordable treatment plan. Contrarian
Providers, nurses and reps. The reps need access to re-stock their wares. If you are concerned about theft... that person shouldn't be working there or have access to begin with. We do not accept controlled/addictive substances in the smaple closet, or even on premises.
