Nay2010
I am considering resigning from a per diem job that I have been working at for just over 1 year. I am covered under the employer's malpractice policy which is claims made and I do not think tail coverage is included in this. Would I need to purchase just tail coverage or is there additional or other coverage options I should look into? Also, is tail coverage something I would have to renew annually for the remainder of my career as a PA to cover any event in the future that would have happened during my time at this job? Sorry about this possibly being a basic question, but liability coverage is somewhat confusing to me and I want to make sure I am protected! GetMeOuttaThisMess
You need a copy of the declaration page and tail coverage, but I bet you knew this since you asked the question. Be prepared for a large, OOP expense most likely.
