My Quant GRE score is 40th percentile. The other two sections are above 80th percentile. They say something like "preference for above 50th percentile." Should I bother applying or will I be cut right away? Any thoughts?

my GRE is 292

this is only one portion of your application and there are a lot of schools that don't even require it.... if other parts of your app are strong I would apply. 4 out of the nine schools I applied to don't require it and I am considering applying to 2 more than don't require it to up my chances. Best of luck!
