Just wanted to start a general thread for anyone who is applying to UNMC for this cycle. I'm submitting the CASPA application this week and keeping my fingers crossed. Good luck to all!

Any word from UNMC? I just submitted my CASPA a few weeks ago, it isn't processed yet.

No, haven't heard anything yet. Submitted the secondary application last week and just waiting now. As understand it, they don't start interviews until December...will probably be a long wait now!

I know there isn't much activity on this thread, but anyone have any idea when UNMC contacts applicants?

UNMC starts contacting applicants in November and continues to contact all the way through January and makes final decisions about the alternative list in February! Good Luck to you all!

Just received an invitation for an interview at UNMC. Does anyone know if there is any advantage to interview on the earlier dates they sent as options such as the December dates, as opposed to the later dates in January?

Spoke to them today...sounds like at each session they divide up the applicants into definite yes, definite no, and maybe. The definite decisions are informed within a couple of days of the decision. So, there may be a slight advantage to interviewing early. Dec 7 is full already.
