shoa0011
Just wondering if anyone else has come across this...I was told by one PA school they don't like to see the use of "I" more than 5 times in a personal essay. I reworked my essay to decrease the number of "I"s, but then I end up using the passive voice a bit which decreases readability. Has anyone else heard about only using "I" a certain number of times by their prospective PA schools? Thanks in advance!
Nkpa20
Yeah, you don’t want to have lots of I’s throughout the essay but there is no magic number that will turn admissions off once you surpass it. I would say use them selectively.
