WHICH field? Medicine is not a monolith. There was recently a thread or two about CME, which is a good way to get a certificate saying you're up to date in the field, often accompanied by real learning. Cases, medicegal discussions, literature reviews, breaking news segments, corependium (a poor man’s UpToDate, but good), conferences (peds conference this year was FREE with subscription), critical care info, specialists are on all the time. Hippo does primary care rap, UC RAP, and EM Cast. Frankly, I’m always a little shocked when I talk to colleagues and they do not listen to EMRAP, it’s such an industry standard. I also really like EM Cast and ECG weekly with Amal Mattu. Beyond that there are a lot of other great free podcasts, but I will just search for a particular topic and listen to individual episodes. Mattu). Good information in several of the videos that I watched/logged yesterday. The video talking about Killer EKGs was really good (and short). It really is almost a one stop shop. EM:RAP also includes Emergency Medical Abstracts, which is probably the best way to stay current with the literature. Not only was there a free virtual PEM conference last year, there will be a trauma and cardiology conference this year. All included with your subscription.
