Bubbley0
I left my work after 6 years for maternity leave and haven't been able to return for 2 years now. My baby ended up having medical issues and no one could handle him but me, he finally got better around 1.5 years old when I felt comfortable leaving him with others, then COVID hit and due to his past medical history I've been super quarantined since I'm super worried of him getting it. I'm losing out a lot for not returning to work, and I was lucky to be barely able to have this option of staying home/quarantining bc my husband's job allows it. But i'm very worried about when i can look for a job eventually and they view my break as an issue not to hire. I wish i was not drowning at home with housework so i could get a telemedicine job, but being quarantined, i can't allow anyone in my home to help. I feel so stuck and worried. Please advise! Of note, I appreciate all of you working during this time, and in the beginning i was doing everything I could to figure out a way to help those of you in need of PPE and was saddened by the deficiency of protection for some of you. Your work doesn't go un-noticed.

Naah. They'll just massively lowball you on the offer, because they can, because they'll know you're desparate. Welcome to where our society REALLY discriminates against women in hiring and pay practices.
