Recs for Online Chemistry Classes?

I'm looking to retake the second general chemistry course asynchronously online over the summer. I've found many of the universities in my state (NC) don't offer this.

1. Is it frowned upon by PA programs to randomly take a class like this at a university that I have absolutely no affiliation/relation to?

2. Any suggestions of universities that offer this type of class?

Thanks!

Look into UC San Diego Extension courses! They are the cheapest option I have been able to find that is both asynchronously online and generally accepted by PA programs. They offer both gen. chem I and II with or without the lab. I am currently enrolled in their genetics course and it works perfectly with my full time job.

I am from the midwest, with a degree from the midwest, and I haven't had any troubles with programs concerning where I take my classes, as long as it is a regionally accredited school it should be fine. Just make sure that your programs accept online versions of your courses!

Hope this helps 🙂
