BeckyTX Posted December 10, 2020 Author Share Posted December 10, 2020 I personally reached out and asked all the programs I'm interested in applying to whether they would accept virtual shadowing in lieu of in-person shadowing. The ones who do require shadowing hours said that they'll accept it. Those that don't require shadowing hours said it didn't matter to them since it was a requirement. However, both said it shows continued interest and action by the pre-PAs who are making an effort during this pandemic. Jennstav Posted February 8, 2021 Share Posted February 8, 2021 For what it is worth, I recently spoke with someone at Trivecca who said that they haven't made a decision about accepting virtual shadowing hours for the next application cycle.
