I need help finding a physician to shadow

I have difficulties finding a physician to shadow. I would like to mention that my school does not offer a pre-med program.

What do I do now ? Any advises ? experience?

Great that you’ve decided on virtual shadowing, I learnt my lesson when the doctor I was supposed to shadow postponed it and I wasted around 3 months waiting for that but then he eventually cancelled it - because of the pandemic.

You might be able to find some virtual opportunities online at healthcareshadowing, virtualshadowing, etc. you can connect with doctors, physicians or other healthcare professionals as well, once you’ve registered on their website. Once you find a doctor just politely request him to allow you to shadow them and don’t forget to mention that you’re open to virtual opportunities, they might agree to that. Make sure you’ve entered the right specialization and field of interest
