I mean I have 40+ years left in professional life, so if push came to shove.. If we could just do a medical residency, that would be even better 1

Pac30
Yeah, I just don't feel the urge to spend 8k to learn nursing theory (whatever that is) to do something I already do for no extra pay. 30 years left for my career, and I'd rather get an MBA and tell all of you what to do. 1 2

Better get that NP and then your MBA. Maybe they'll let you in the C-Suite after that...
DizzyJ
There is an online ABSN at Xavier. Most of curriculum is online, but 850 hours of clinical, labs, practicum not online. https://acceleratednursing.xavier.edu/ They have an entry level MSN program as well, but doesn't say it is online. Cideous
MBA's are pretty worthless unless they are from a well known program that guarantees a business internship and fellowship. Getting a non-clinical job in healthcare even with an MBA is hella hard and almost impossible unless you know someone willing to take you on and mentor you. Nurses with DNP and MBA have the fasttrack to management, I've seen it a hundred times. Edited December 1, 2020 by Cideous
