Frankie C
Okie, I need a little clarification on the rule that most PA schools use. Is the rule that we need to use classes within 5 years of taking them or graduating with our degree? I.e. I took my bulk of classes in my freshman and sophomore year (2009/2010) and I'm taking 2 years off after I graduate in 2013 Spring. Anyone know what I'm talking about? ToppDog
If you're talking pre-req's, then it typically means the classes in question should not be more than five years old at the time you submit your app. Check with the schools in question though, as they may differ from this. Sparkles9708
Some schools differ from 5 years, some allow 7 years for the pre req requirements and some will go as far out as ten years.
erptacmtkrazyso
My Program only requires that A&P and Microbio be current within 5 years. All other prerequisites can be taken whenever. Ie I just took A&P and micro the last 2 years. All my other prerequisites were taken over 15 years ago before i wen to PT school I guess it just depends on the school you apply to.
