ran2much Posted November 5, 2020 Share Posted November 5, 2020 Hi - Ive never worked as a PA with a contract before. Ive always been free to come and go when I want and Ive stayed here for 10 years. Im moving back east to be near my family again and the new potential employer is requesting a 120 day notice if I should ever wish to leave. I think 4 months is a huge amount of notice to give. ohiovolffemtp Posted November 5, 2020 Share Posted November 5, 2020 If you think about it from the employer's point of view, they want enough notice to fill the position if you leave. So, ask how long licensing and credentialing would take for a new provider. For EM, 90 days is plenty. I can't speak to other fields but think it would be the same.
