RCKimeryJr
I've been doing my research about the PA profession and I have only been able to find scarce amounts of information regarding job advancement and promotional opportunities for a PA. I have read that some start their own clinics and others have been promoted to a director type position but other than that, what kind of opportunities are there for a PA to advance in his or her field? From what I understand, after you become a PA that is the end of the line and you will always be someone'swingman. Obviously as you become more experienced you will have more autonomy and your fellow staff will show you more respect but the real question is how difficult is it for a PA to move up and make more money? I'm assuming your place of practice plays a role in that decission, and your education experience level- So anyone with some insight on this, the information would be greatly appreciated.
