TickledPink
I have 3000+ hours of PCE working as an ER tech at a hospital, but do not have any hours of HCE. Should I try to get more HCE hours? Will it look bad if I don't? I aways thought it was weird because when working at a hospital aren't you also gaining HCE. Would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks! KuchiKopi
Naw! Just go for the PCE! The direct patient care hours are more valuable than HCE. They want you experienced with various demographics while developing communication skills and over all interactions with people/patients/coworkers. I wouldn't worry about HCE...but my opinion Edited September 24, 2020 by Kirby219
