Potsdam is definitely more rural. I have several classmates from Long Island who say it's a big change, but definitely doable (2 years really isn't that long). I was accepted a few months ago. I recently got information on apartments etc. So far I've had a few landlords tell me that finding an apartment that starts in winter is unlikely and that I will need to start a rental for fall semester and just move in when my classes start...that seems to benefit the landlord but definitely not me! CVP Is out of the question because I have a dog and cat...which severely limits my other options as well! I'm continuing to look around, hopefully something will come up soon.
