260 hrs last month(mostly coverage for a doc with covid).

This month 232 hrs with the last week of the month off for a vacation that is now not happening.

100 hrs last 8 days. 24, 10, 10, 10, 10, (off ten mile hike with sunburn), 12, 12, 12. Just realized that I have a reason for feeling tired. Off in 5 hrs...until tues, when I have another 24.

maybe the wife is right.

That's waaaaay too much.  That is practically the equivalent of working a 10 hour day, every day of the month.   I don't know how you do it.  I do about 140-170 a month and want to die.

I am sleeping a lot of those hrs on my 24s. Getting paid to sleep is awesome.

Shift work is one of the great things of doing rural emergency medicine ( high hourly  pay, 24-36hr shifts).  Has also been my downfall on more than one occasion with commitment to family. Slippery slope.

indeed. Have missed lots of birthdays, holidays, etc due to this.
