But I would really like to sit down at the thanksgiving table and tell my family that I am thankful for getting into PA school! Scratch that; I am actually working on Thanksgiving. mkels Posted November 24, 2012 Author Share Posted November 24, 2012 So, in spirit of the holiday, I will say that I am thankful for my job. Even if I do not get in this year, I have a job that I am learning so much with. The past two days were tough, but I learned a lot. I assisted in a couple of procedures I had yet to assist in, I got to interact with the cardio team during a consult (I work in Neuro), and I asked the RT to show me a couple of things about the ventilator and she gave me a really informative lesson. The last couple of days have been just what I needed to help calm my nerves, because whether or not I get in, I am still learning a lot.
