Im really hoping we find out before March 15 in case some of us have to take the UNE online course. I would like to have more than 8-10 weeks to complete that course if possible, as their website says its a 16 week self pace course. I also am unsure if I want to be proactive and spend $1400-$1500 before even knowing I am accepted. Hoping to hear way before that but one can only hope!

Will genetics fulfill this requirement or we must have to take Medical Physiology course? I am kinda confused which is the class we are supposed to take?

@Kayan3691you have to take an upper elective science (I.e., a 300 level course Iike Genetics, Immunology, Molecular Biology) and then a 300 level Human Physiology course. A&P I and II do not qualify because they are 200 level and typically are prerequisites for the Human Physiology course. All courses must be completed by the program start date.

I was rejected by them last year and they didn't even have the decency to reply back to me with the rejection letter. I waited for 3 months after being interviewed, only to find out I was rejected. I'm not surprised if they're taking their sweet time to reply back to us right now. So much for professionalism. It doesnt make sense for them to send out acceptances to a handful of people and leave us in the loop.

Secondly the Medical Physiology class they require is stupid. Paying almost 1600 for a single course is rubbish. No other school requires it.

I was told I would find out the decision within 2-3 weeks, yet its almost going to be 2 months.

Wow I'm really sorry that happened to you. I really hope we hear back soon if the admissions committee has already met. I would prefer to hear back this week, I don't want to wait another 3-4 weeks

@al347 Congratulations!!! So I’m under the impression that all pre-req courses and hours have to be completed by the start date in June. That includes that Advanced Human Physiology course. UNE offers the self paced one so if you don’t have that completed and you’re not enrolled in that course right now, you should do that ASAP and like every day so it’s done by June! Congrats again! Thanks for posting too that you heard.

Hello Everyone!

Just wanted to say congrats to those of you who have been accepted today! I know the waiting period is the worst. As for the Human Phys class, I would reach out to Lori and ask her for more info on the Human Phys class that is offered at UNE because it is a self paced class that you can work at your own speed. You can leave everything for last min if you want to and submit it all at the end. Most people procrastinate and end up doing that anyway lol Don't feel like you are behind or in a pickle because you still have to take this class. You have plenty of time to complete it.

For those of you that have been accepted, i am re-sharing the link to your Mercy class of 2023 FB group! https://www.facebook.com/groups/2927823124117618/
