Got an official rejection from MUSC a couple minutes ago. Figured that was coming after I didn't hear back after the 21st. Still managed to get into a program this cycle so I'm not too upset. Good luck to everyone else who interviewed!!

Was it an email or letter?

Hi! Just wanted everybody to know that Mr. Antoine said that he would start notifying applicants of decisions on Monday! He said he will call and follow up with an email for those accepted and email f

I imagine that there will be a wave of posts once people start hearing back (based on the threads of past years). I’m equally anxious - never before have I been jumping at spam phone calls like I have

Congrats to everyone who was accepted, I can’t wait to meet you guys!😊 Does anyone want to join a Facebook page or a GroupMe? Also good luck everyone, you’re doing a great job!! Keep up the good work✨

Has anyone been accepted?

I haven’t received a decision letter yet. Every day I become more and more nervous though.. The last email stated a decision would be sent out in “early to mid December” so we should find out soon!

Did anyone see MUSC added this to their website? Does anyone have any insight about this?

Yes, I saw this too. I tried posting on the Francis Marion thread from the 2019 cycle asking if anyone had any information and I didn’t hear anything back.

If you’re asking about how this affects acceptances for the class of 2023, they discussed this a bit on the day I interviewed (in late November). MUSC will be accepting a number of first- and second-year transfer students from Francis Marion since their program is shutting down. However, MUSC was able to adjust the class sizes to accommodate this change by taking a max of 97 students as part of these classes that those students will be joining. You can see a bit more on their ARC-PA accreditation page here: http://www.arc-pa.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Accreditation-History-MUSC-87.pdf

Long story short, my understanding is that is doesn’t further limit the spaces that we were applying/interviewing for.

Anyone get any news yet? I’m refreshing my email about every ten minutes, haha!

Radio silence over here! I’m also refreshing my email and constantly checking to see if I’ve missed a call.. this is stressful!
