Petunia
$100,000 salary Transparency of my collections and the practice financial statements 25% of my collections over $650,000 paid as a bonus They are going to invest in marketing me, and I will receive good mentoring/training but I am unsure how attainable the numbers are. Please share any feedback. Thank you so much! Edited May 28, 2020 by Petunia
ohiovolffemtp
Just doing the math, if you hit collections of $575K/year you make $123K - that's 21.3% of collections. I don't know typical compensation patterns for derm, but that would be a key question to ask of PA's in the field: what % of collections do they typically get. AbeTheBabe
Sounds pretty bad to be honest. You'll be a cash cow for them. How about once you hit 300K in collections you just earn 1/3 of all collections and no salary? Maybe after a year.
Petunia
Thanks for your feedback, both of you! I agree that 21% doesn't sound great, but I am going to be doing mostly injections and the markup is 50%, so the collections minus cost of good closer to $287,500. Which would be like ~40% collection.
