Hi!

@htb13a

For the autobiography essay, how did you go about it?

Are we supposed describe the highlights of our life?

I went with the "unique" life experience approach. I'm hard of hearing, so i explained how that came about, what it meant for my development, and how it shaped my personality/communicative ability. I flipped that communicative deficit into a strength and explained how it would help me as a PA.

Hi everyone! I was wondering if anyone is planning on taking the PA-CAT before applying!

Nope! It's their first year requiring it, and for RVU applying earlier seems to give a better advantage than doing their recommended stuff.

Hi guys! What are some interesting features about this program? I'm having trouble finding any good information on their website.

besides it being 27 months.

I'm going to their information forum on Thursday, June 25th - 1:00 - 2:00 pm. If there is a Q&A portion, I'll ask.

I want to go, but I have to work during that time! Would you be willing to share any important details they discuss please?

Yes. And, if you still want to attend later there are multiple dates and times!

In lieu of in-person sessions, the program will be offering virtual sessions. If you are interested in signing up for a virtual general information session please email Teri Coe at tcoe@rvu.edu. Please include your name, date of the session you would like to attend and the email address you would like to receive the link to participate.

I found their information session to be super informative and helpful, I’d definitely recommend it! One of my top choices after hearing about their competency based learning and other program features.

I agree! I loved their info session and it made me really excited to hear back from them! Hopefully like someone else mentioned, they will send out interviews mid-July!
