pakelly
I am a PA-C, who is working for a new/growing medical practice. In addition to providing patient care, I am helping the owners of the company find PA's to be center directors of their clinics. When looking for jobs, what sites/avenues do you use in your search? I historically used the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants web site, but the clinics are growing nation wide, and I'm curious what other PA's are using. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Doc Savage
I spoke with a Pain Management Doc who told me that most PA jobs are by internal referral from other PA's and other providers. There are several recruiting agencies or "head hunters" but they cost $$$. You can try the AAPA job link: http://www.healthecareers.com/aapa/search-jobs/ Also there are numerous career based websites http://www.indeed.com and http://www.simplyhired.com and http://www.advancedpracticejobs.com/ are a few good ones. Good luck!

foreveryoung
google. I google and get hits from difference sources including some of those listed. Also, I read all emails of job listings sent out by the two states that I am affilated with. I also get direct requests for resumes from places I may not have otherwise considered.
