I'm wondering if anyone has ever received the Advanced Practice Healthcare Scholarship through the OSHPD in CA, or maybe know someone who has. I just received word that I'm getting an award (such welcome news in these dark times). As with lots of scholarship, it comes with a required work commitment, which I'm all to happy to accept. I was wondering though how easy (or hard) it is to find work at a designated health shortage area/facility for the one year commitment required for the award. Wondering if facilities are few and far between, and whether I'll need to move to be able to fulfill the commitment. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
