docmcstuffins
I am in my second year of PA school. I am currently finishing up my elective which was in cardiology and I really liked it. I would like some advise on following this field.I had couple of questions and was wondering if someone can address them for me. 1. Is it good to do a fellowship before applying for a job? How hard is it to get a job in cardiology? And how do I make myself look good on my resume? 2. I did hear about piedmont residency in Georgia. Is there any other residencies that I can apply to? Is it very competitive? 3. Should I wait until I am certified to apply for residencies? 4. Is there anyone working in cardiology at the moment and can you share if you like it or not?
