I currently have a cumulative GPA of 3.4 and 3000 hours of PCE and great letters of rec. I will be taking a gap year also to work and study for the GRE if i need to take it. With your below average GPA (average cGPA for PA schools matriculants is 3.58) you will want to cast a wide net when applying to schools so you will certainly want to apply to schools that require the GRE.
