CAdamsPAC
My suspicions and distrust has been reaffirmed! I always thought these EHR where just backdoor money makers and billing systems. https://ehrintelligence.com/news/practice-fusion-fined-145m-for-opioid-prescribing-kickback-scheme?eid=CXTEL000000390995&elqCampaignId=13178&utm_source=nl&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=newsletter&elqTrackId=113e2a8156aa4a1d8b262acfc74847fb&elq=39dcc8c9d4ab4582aecb125cce071006&elqaid=13857&elqat=1&fbclid=IwAR1-cpwoXHuhvXMkeguPDYGbEvHPma0vgFQIQnd1d40CorjZtOigOEjEMiU.
FiremedicMike
"Clinical Decision Support Alerts" - does this mean there's a pop-up that happens in the middle of charting? "Hey, looks like your patient could use some oxy, click here to prescribe"? I mean.. really?
Administrator rev ronin Posted January 30, 2020 Administrator Share Posted January 30, 2020 Ok, you've convinced me we need more than just like/upvote/downvote... This needs FB's angry react.
Joelseff
I used to use practice fusion in my old private practice. It was free. This was several years ago so I never got any pop-ups or any clinical decision making help in the system. Sounds like they made "upgrades." [emoji23] We actually couldn't even e prescribe back then. But I believe it with EHR/EMR. It was put in place for medicare/medicaid billing in mind and that's why we all hate our jobs now lol. Bring back paper and get rid of billing justification in documentation! [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] Yeah I don't know how we can actually do that.
