I’ve always thought of it as a favorable place to be a PA since it’s the birthplace of our profession, but what is it REALLY like to be a PA in North Carolina (Charlotte area specifically)? Do you feel you have a decent level of autonomy and respect from other providers/patients/administrators? Is there much NP competition? How is the compensation? Is NC making any big moves toward OTP?
