BBurk Posted November 19, 2019 Share Posted November 19, 2019 Good afternoon everyone! I am very happy to say I was called yesterday and accepted into UAB's PA program. That being said, I've started looking at places that my wife and I can rent. Does anyone have any insight into some areas that are both safe and affordable? That's just north of Birmingham and may be more affordable than living in the city. It's maybe a 20 minute drive down the interstate. Congrats and happy rental hunting! paxander Posted November 20, 2019 Share Posted November 20, 2019 Hoover, Homewood and Vestavia Hills are all great areas. I've heard there are some good apartments somewhere off of Alford Ave., which is in Hoover. However, I own a home in Hoover, so I don't have much experience with apartment life in this area.
