BirdDogPA
Just finished my DMSc earlier this year. I find myself still longing to further my education especially from an admin/bussiness standpoint. Anyone else gotten a doctorate degree and went in to get a masters (MBA, MS, MPH, JM) or a second doctorate (PhD, ect) ? Strongly considering an MBA... I'm starting the DMSc program this fall. I'll start the DrPH program afterwards. There is an online program that requires a few campus visits within driving distance from my home. I hear you on the money part; I couldn't pursue the DrPH without the benefit of in-state tuition.

BirdDogPA
The university I work for offers 5k a year toward tuition. My plan is to get an MS in higher education and then go for the EdD. Not a perfect plan but it’s practically free.
Moderator EMEDPA Posted August 23, 2020 Moderator Share Posted August 23, 2020 My first job was at Kaiser. They paid for my postgrad MS in PA. Of course it only cost $1800 at the time from U of Nebraska.

lightbearer06
I am a year into the IMBA from University of Illinois. I felt like that would set me up for administration or potentially starting my own healthcare oriented company way better than DMSC. Feel free to connect if you have any questions.
