Normal or Abnormal EKG?

LAD = Left Axis Deviation

To tell the truth I've never seen Left Axis Deviation abbreviated as LAD especially in EKGs as it can so easily be confused with Left Anterior Descending. For the purposes of EKGs I wonder if it might not be a "verboten" abbreviation. I consider myself mildly EKG savvy but I was confused and thought I was missing a major knowledge aspect.

Worked cards for years, have seen LAD/RAD used commonly in reference to axis deviation.
