Relpek50
Hello all. I am a psychiatrist seeking to set up physician assistant positions for my practice. Can anyone tell me what the standard is for the number of patients seen a day. Working 8:30 to 5pm seeing 2 init assessments usually and rest are 15 min med checks. With any job hoping for fair and practical. Salaried position. Medical assistant will handle refills and prior autos and dragon medical avail for dictation with electronic charting. Any ideas? Thanks much all.
marktheshark89
20-25 is reasonable i would say for any provider, PA or not, with those time slots. Depending on the providers experience it may take some time to get up to that speed.
Relpek50
Thanks much. Any ballpark range you would think for someone just out of school vs someone with a few years experience but new to psych vs someone who has been doing psych.
