Had an Illness in College, Recovered, Applying to PA School

Hello,

As people who succeeded in getting into PA school, I have a question.   My college transcript shows that I had 3 years of medical leave before coming back to college.  It was an illness that resolved.

Do I need to address this in my personal statement?  Is it likely to come up in an interview?

You can if you like but you don’t have to share any more than you want.

Someone like you will be starting in our next cohort, two weeks from tomorrow. It can be done.

Glad you are well now. Being well is a gift we often don’t really appreciate until we lose it for a while.
