POSITIVEDETERMINATION
I just want to know if I even have a chance to get into PA school considering I have no PCE hours. I am a Medical Lab Technologist. Here are my stats cgpa - 3.79 sgpa - 3.80 HCE - 5800 hours PCE - none Volunteer - 240 hours (non-clinical) Leadership - 1800 hours Shadowing - 238 hours Haven't taken GRE yet but I started a week ago and did a full-length practice test and my score was 300. I would really appreciate a feedback.

hy0914
The likelihood of being accepted to a program without an PCE is very low. I interviewed at 5 schools and was accepted to 3. I did not meet anyone at any of those interviews who did not have PCE. Most people had about 2 years of experience in a healthcare role. That's good to know. I will try to get as much PCE as I can. I will keep on updating my profile though. I'm still going to try to apply and just be hopeful about it. I just took the GRE and got an unofficial score of 310 with 5weeks prep.
CGM717
Getting some PCE is a good idea. I was accepted this cycle without PCE, so it's not impossible. I think it really depends what your HCE role is. All your other stats look good. Best of luck! Edited September 16, 2019 by CGM717
