"How Tall is the Shortest Giant?" Interesting article I found on the huddle about educational differences between PC Docs, PAs and NPs

I don't know if the link works but I was able to get the article on the huddle so I attached it here as well.

Very interesting view from a psychiatrist who asks a great question: "How Tall is the Shortest Giant?" meaning how much or what is the least acceptable education requirements for clinicians in the primary care setting. He seems to be in support of reducing Physician education to match up with the "shortest giant" in Primary care.

I thought that was a great article

I thought so too and from conversations I have had with some Docs, the idea of community/team based care and eliminating the so called hierarchy is something that some from this new generation of Docs believe in. Hope more to come.
